Here we go :)

I've waited for this concert for months. And it was great. At the entrance, I saw Frederic Leclerc, from Dragonforce, but I didn't get to talk to him. I was so pissed off >.<
Then the concert started with Arch Enemy, a band I didn't know. That was amazing, the singer was a woman and she could scream as loud as 3 ogers It didn't last very long, but amazing.
Then came Dragonforce. The opening was really funny, as they were making fun of other bands' openings.

They began with Fury of the Storm, and performed it very well. You know why? Cuz they were sober, which is quite rare XD. They kept on with Operation Ground and Pound, during which Herman Li performed part of the solo using his tongue. (yeah, for real, lol)


After that, Starfire. Here's a vid:

 

The next song was Valley of the Damned, and Frederic borrowed Sam's guitar to play the solo. I had never seen that before, and I think he did it better than Sam actually. And at he end of the song, they did some really crazy stuff: Sam, Fred and Herman formed a triangle, and played each other's instrument. Amazing >.< You can see it at the end of the video, after the solo.

They finished with Through the Fire and Flames, and ruled it. Honestly, they really kicked ass. I'm just kinda sad for them, because nobody in the room knew them, except me and three or four other guys. But they said they would come back lol.







After DF, it was Trivium's turn. Once again, they kicked ass They played my favorite songs, Becoming the Dragon and Anthem. Here's a vid of their opening and of the two first songs.

 

During the intermission, I went up the stairs, and guess who I met? ^-^ Frederic Leclerc. We chatted for a while. He's really a nice person. Here's his dirty face:




When I saw the people's reaction when Machine Head began their show, I understood everybody had actually come for them (that was not really my case, even if I did enjoy Machine "Fucking" Head). They performed very well, but there was too much bass in my opinion. Anyway, vids and pix:

 

 

Well then, I really had fun, all the bands were cool, so if there's another tour, I'll make sure to go again.
